Microsoft held its second Xbox Partner Preview event, where the company spent roughly 30 minutes highlighting third-party games coming to Xbox consoles and Windows PCs down the road.

Unknown 9: Awakening Gets New Gameplay Trailer, Out this Summer

Starting the show, Reflector Entertainment shared a new gameplay trailer for Unknown 9: Awakening, which is out this summer.

This is the latest look at Unknown 9: Awakening since the game was revealed almost four years ago during Gamescom Opening Night Live.

Sleight of Hand Is the Next Game from Framed Creator Joshua Boggs

Joshua Boggs, the developer behind the mobile game Framed, has announced his next project: Sleight of Hand. Like his previous project, Sleight of Hand is a noir game with stealth gameplay. Players control Lady Luck, a private detective using dark magic to take down her former coven.

Sleight of Hand will be released on Xbox and PC sometime next year and will also be available on Microsoft’s game service, Game Pass.

11 Bit Studios Upcoming Sci-Fi Game, The Alters Gets New Gameplay Trailer, But No Release Date

The Alters, a new sci-fi game with many thrills and tense moments, got a new gameplay trailer at today’s Partner Preview. The new gameplay trailer shows Jan Dolski, who crafted various iterations of himself as he tries to escape a lethal planet.

Creatures of Ava, Looks Like a More Cozier Version of Palworld

11 Bit Studios used today’s Partner Preview showcase to reveal its next game, Creatures of Ava.

Creatures of Ava is a nonviolent action-adventure game set in a fictional world filled with monsters. Players control Vic, who uses a flute to tame wild creatures suffering from an infection instead of fighting to eradicate them.

Creatures of Ava is set to release sometime this year and will be available on day one for Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers.

There’s a Roblox Game Where You Play as Chucky, But Only for a Limited Time

When you think of Roblox, the last thing that likely comes to mind is the fictional killer doll Chucky. Well, that changes today as Griefville: Survive the Nightmare will allow you to play as the killer doll for a limited time. In a press release, developer RocketRide Games reveals that gameplay for Griefville will have players in a game loop, where they spend the day preparing before nightfall as they try and endure nightmarish portals that “transport them into unique game modes.”

“With Griefville: Survive the Nightmare!, we wanted to create an experience that taps into the shared cultural touchstone of 80s and 90s horror for older Roblox users,” RocketRide Games CEO Lois-Rene Auclair wrote in a press release. “It’s not just about jump scares; it’s about capturing the atmosphere, the tension, and the pure joy of getting lost in a classic horror flick. We are delighted to bring Griefville to Roblox with the best possible partners!”

The Long-Awaited Sequel, The Sinking City 2, Is Out Next Year

Following a long legal battle regarding publishing rights for the original game, Frogwares has finally revealed that The Sinking City 2 is finally coming out sometime next year.

A survival horror game set in the 1920s in the United States, The Sinking City 2 will have players exploring a semi-open world powered by Unreal Engine 5.

In addition to a release date, Frogwares revealed in a press release that it is planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for Sinking City 2’s development as the Ukraine-based studio due to the impact the developer has faced as a result of the ongoing war with Russia.

A Full Release of Final Fantasy 14 for Xbox Is Out In a Few Weeks

Square Enix revealed that the full release of Final Fantasy 14 will be released on March 21 for Xbox.

This has been a long time coming for Xbox fans. Last July, it was revealed that Final Fantasy 14 would arrive on Xbox consoles with the Series X version capable of running the game at 4K resolution. Before the full release, an open beta was released for Xbox owners last month.

The First 3 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Games Are Getting Remastered for Modern Consoles

If you are planning to play the upcoming game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl but have yet to play the first one (or its other entries), today’s Xbox Partner Preview revealed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat are all getting remastered for modern consoles.

This remastered compilation got a stealth release today, titled S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy.

Monster Jam Showdown Is a New Racing Game With Monster Trucks

If you are looking for a new racing game this year, Monster Jam Showdown might be what you are looking for. Players will endure various arcade off-road races in an array of monster trucks.

Monster Jam Showdown is set to release sometime this year.

Today, Atlus surprised many Persona fans by announcing the DLC Episode Aigis for Persona 3 Reload. What makes this more jaw-dropping is that this is a brand-new DLC. Alongside a brand new DLC announcement, Atlus provided detailed information on the expansion pass for Persona 3 Reload.

Announced last December at the 2023 Game Awards, Neople’s upcoming action RPG The First Berserker got a new trailer at today’s show.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau Looks Beautiful in New Gameplay Trailer

The latest project from the EA originals initiative is Surgent Studios’ colorful Metroidvania game Tales of Kenzera: Zau. Narrated by actor Abubakar Salim, the new gameplay trailer shows off a colorful in-game world and fast-paced gameplay.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau is out on April 23 for Xbox PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

Frostpunk 2 Gets a July Release Date and New Trailer

11 Bit Studios has finally shared a release date for its highly anticipated sequel Frostpunk 2, which is out on July 25 for PC and will be a day one release on PC Game Pass.

Alongside a release date, 11 Bit Studios shared a new trailer, which provides a ton of preorder information. It reveals that those who preorder the Deluxe Edition will get access to features such as the closed beta scheduled for next month and access to the story mode three days before its official release.

Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Will be Released Sometime This Year

Revealed at last Summer’s Xbox Games Showcase, Capcom’s upcoming action game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess appeared at today’s Partner Preview Event, where it received new details and a release window. The latest trailer shows off a ton of action and extremely detailed and stylish characters.
